Verona, Wisconsin Police Announce Arrest of School Staff Member in Child Sexual Assault Case

Police in Verona, Wisconsin announced this month that they had arrested a school staff member in connection with the sexual assault of a child, according to a media release published on the City of Verona's official website in early September 2026.

The release, posted through the city's news flash system, is framed as an announcement of the arrest itself rather than a detailed account of the allegations. notadragqueen.org is not naming the person arrested, consistent with its policy of identifying accused individuals by role rather than by name.

An arrest is not a conviction, and the city's release describes allegations that have not been tested in court.
