Three Former Daycare Workers at a Utah Air Force Base Charged With Assaulting Toddlers, KSL Reports

Oct. 4, 2026 · KSL

Three former daycare providers who worked at Hill Air Force Base in northern Utah have been criminally charged in connection with the alleged mistreatment of toddlers and young children, according to KSL, which reported the charges on Oct. 1. KSL's account describes allegations that the workers roughly handled and assaulted children at the base child care operation.

The Ogden-area Standard-Examiner reported the same day that the three former providers were charged with simple assault involving toddlers and other young children, and Salt Lake City station Fox 13 also reported the charges. Per those outlets, all three are former employees, meaning they were no longer working at the facility when the charges were announced.

The allegations have not been tested in court and the former workers are presumed innocent. KSL's report contains the details of the counts filed and the base's response; readers should consult the original story linked here.
