Texas High School Head Football Coach Fired After Arrest on Child Sex Abuse Charges, Houston Station Reports

A Houston-area high school head football coach has been fired after his arrest on child sex abuse charges, KPRC (Click2Houston) reported. According to the station, the coach worked at Klein High School in Klein ISD, and the district moved to terminate his employment following the arrest.

KHOU reported that the same former athletic coordinator was taken into custody by the Harris County Sheriff's Office on child sex crime charges. Both outlets reported the arrest as it was announced by the sheriff's office late this week.

The charges are allegations that have not been proven in court. KPRC's report contains the district's statement and the details of the sheriff's office announcement.
