Oct. 10, 2026 · KSLA

A former reserve deputy with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana has been arrested on charges tied to child sexual abuse material and indecent behavior with juveniles, KSLA reported, citing information released by the state attorney general's office. According to the station, special agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation made the arrest after receiving a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children concerning the online distribution of such material.

KSLA reported that the 33-year-old was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center around midnight on Oct. 9 on one count of pornography involving juveniles and two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, with bond set at $300,000 on each count. KTBS, reporting on the same case, said the arrest took place Oct. 8 and listed the charges as two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of possession of child sexual abuse material.

Both outlets reported that the sheriff's office said it was notified of the investigation, terminated the reserve deputy's employment and assisted agents in taking him into custody. The investigation was described by KSLA as a joint effort between the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the sheriff's office and as still ongoing. The charges are allegations; no plea or trial date was reported.
