Former Virginia Beach Teacher Charged Over Alleged Sexual Relationship With a Student 13 Years Ago

A former Virginia Beach teacher has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual relationship with a student that authorities say took place roughly 13 years ago, WAVY reported this week.

Cases like this often surface years later, when a former student comes forward and prosecutors determine that charges are still viable. The charges are allegations and have not been tested in court.

WAVY's report contains the details of the charges and the timeline investigators have described.
