Former San Antonio High School Teacher Arrested on Child Sexual Assault Charges, Station Reports

A former high school teacher in the San Antonio area has been arrested on child sexual assault charges, according to KSAT, the ABC affiliate in San Antonio. The station reported the arrest on Aug. 31, attributing its account to records it reviewed rather than to a public news conference or agency statement.

KSAT identified the accused as a former teacher at MacArthur High School. Notadragqueen.org does not name people accused of these offenses. The station's report is based on records documenting the charges and the arrest; readers who want the full details of what those records say, including the specific counts filed, should read KSAT's original coverage at the link with this story.

An arrest is not a conviction, and the allegations described in KSAT's reporting have not been tested in court. As of the station's report, no plea or trial date had been reported, and the accused is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
