Oct. 1, 2026 · KSAT 12 (San Antonio)

A former elementary school teacher in San Antonio's Northside Independent School District has been indicted on multiple child sex abuse charges, KSAT reported on Sept. 30, citing court and jail records. According to the station, the 47-year-old former teacher faces two first-degree felonies and three second-degree felonies, including three counts of indecency with a child.

KSAT reported that police allege the former teacher sexually assaulted a student on several occasions about a decade ago, while she was working at an elementary campus where she taught for nearly 12 years until June 2019. The station reported she was first arrested in connection with the allegations in late April of this year.

The former teacher is no longer affiliated with the district, and state records show her educator certificate has been indefinitely suspended, according to KSAT. The charges are allegations, and the case has not been tried. Full details of the indictment are in KSAT's reporting.
