Colorado Police Say a Former Littleton Teacher and Coach Was Arrested in an Online Sting and Fear More Victims

Oct. 8, 2026 · KDVR Fox 31

A former Littleton, Colorado, teacher and high school coach has been arrested on felony child exploitation and luring charges following an undercover online investigation, KDVR (Fox 31) reported. According to the station, Fort Collins Police Services detectives created fictitious online accounts posing as children and arrested the 53-year-old in Castle Rock on Sept. 4. KDVR reported the charges include felony internet sexual exploitation of a child, felony internet luring of a child and three counts of felony promotion of obscenity to a minor, and that he was released on a $75,000 personal recognizance bond.

KDVR reported this was not the first time he had been investigated over alleged sexual misconduct involving a minor. According to the station, he was placed on administrative leave in 2025 from his teaching job at Options Secondary School and his coaching role at Littleton High School while Littleton police investigated, but the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office concluded there was insufficient evidence to bring charges at that time. The station reported he worked at the secondary school from 1998 to 2025 and coached at Littleton High School from 2007 to 2025.

Fort Collins police told Denver7 that detectives developed information during the investigation leading them to believe there may be additional victims, and Littleton investigators are now asking anyone who had inappropriate or concerning interactions with him to come forward, according to both outlets. Denver7 reported that Littleton Public Schools said in a statement that the conduct underlying the arrest did not occur while he was employed by the district or in Arapahoe County, and that the district has no information he engaged in improper conduct with any student or district community member. The charges have not been proven in court.
